Bread+Butter Pickles
We call these our “gateway pickles”, a great pickle for those just dipping their toe in the world of pickles, a brilliant starter jar. These are an American staple, named during the great Depression when meat and cheese for sandwiches were scarce. These tangy pickled cucumbers were a cheap alternative to put between bread and butter.
Ingredients: cucumbers, onions, white vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic, mustard seeds*, turmeric

Tasting Notes: Pickled in a slightly sweet brine (although would still not class this as a ‘sweet’ pickle), turmeric, garlic, onions and mustard. Cut in thick rounds for extra crunch and have a good bit of bite to them. Not dissimilar to a cucumber version of piccalilli.

HELL OR HIGH WATER PICKLES
These hot dog pickles stand tall and proud and pack one heck of a punch. Sliced in spears they pair with sausages for next level hotdogs, and can also be used for some bloody good bloody marys!

Tasting notes: Chilli, dill and garlic make these our punchiest pickles. They are spicy and don’t have any sugar in the brine so are our most “American” pickles.

RODEO DISCO PICKLES
Our Rodeo Disco pickles were named because of the colourful mix of spices we use to flavour them, it’s a party in a jar! Sliced in thinner rounds, these are a bit more delicate, almost floral, in taste.

Tasting Notes: Seasoned with pink peppercorns, coriander seeds, mustard, dill and nigella seeds, Rodeo Disco pickles have a wonderful balance making them both punchy and tangy without being overpowering.
There’s a hint of sugar in the brine to balance out the acidity in the vinegar, but again they are very much not a sweet pickle.

This one’s for the true pickle purists. Our take on the classic American sour dill — bold, briny, and unapologetically dilly. No sugar anywhere in sight. The sharpest, tangiest pickle this side of the Atlantic. Get ready for some serious attitude in your sarnies.
